Maurizio Panetti has been a Partner at Crisci & Partners since 2025

He holds a Law degree from the University of Genoa and an LL.M. (Master in International Law) from the London School of Economics.

He began his professional career at The Chase Manhattan Bank, working in Milan and London as Vice President, managing multinational clients and developing merchant banking in Italy.

He was a Senior Manager at The Mac Group, a strategic consulting firm based in Boston, and a Partner – Managing Director at A.T. Kearney and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he led the European market for Financial Institutions.

As Partner and CEO of the Italian branch of Heidrick & Struggles (listed on the New York Stock Exchange), he led its development and launched the “Boards and Corporate Governance” practice in Europe.

He served as Counsel at CBA (a law and tax firm in Milan with over 120 professionals) for Corporate Governance, and was the founder and first Chairman of the Italian Chapter of WomenCorporateDirectors, a global association present in 50 countries with over 2,000 women serving as Board Directors.

In 2014, he founded Governance Advisory and BMAdvisory, strategic consulting firms focused on Governance and Sustainability.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of two U.S.-based non-profit foundations (headquartered in New York), where he is responsible for investment strategies with a focus on ethics and sustainability compliance.
